This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is naturally dense and solid, without cracks. Tapered thickness: One cross-cut section is slightly thinner than the other. Consistent width with reserves on both ends. The natural colour of the bark is orange-brown.
