This is a premium-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is naturally dense and solid, despite some tiny, non-penetrating fissures. Tapered width: One cross-cut section is slightly wider than the other. Consistent thickness with reserves on both ends. The natural colour of the bark is brown-orange.

This brown-orange mammoth bark is completely natural and untreated. It is not stabilized or resin-filled.
