This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth ivory (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is naturally dense and solid, despite some cracks. Tapered thickness: One cross-cut section is thicker than the other. Consistent width with reserves on both ends. Please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The natural colour of the ivory and the outer layer of bark is walnut-brown.
