This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is naturally dense and solid, despite some small, non-penetrating cracks. Tapered width: One cross-cut section is slightly wider than the other. Consistent thickness with reserves on both ends. The natural colour of the bark is brown-creme.
