White mammoth ivory segment

This is a premium-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth ivory (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is naturally dense and solid, despite one small crack. Consistent width and thickness with reserves on both ends. The piece displays its original, natural ivory tone. The colour of the outer layer of bark is brown-orange.

This white mammoth ivory segment is completely natural and untreated. It is not stabilized or resin-filled. All of our pieces are unique in colour, structure, and shape due to fossilisation processes and long-term climatic conditions of the Siberian permafrost. No artificial treatments or restorations have been performed unless specifically stated.
