Natural mammoth ivory piece

This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth ivory (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is naturally dense and solid, despite some small, non-penetrating cracks. Tapered width and thickness with reserves on both ends: One cross-cut section is narrower and thicker than the other. Please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. This piece displays its original, natural ivory tone. The colour of the outer layer is a mix of cream, pale honey and faint grey streaks.
