Natural mammoth ivory piece

This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth ivory (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is naturally dense and solid, despite some small cracks. Tapered thickness: One cross-cut section is thicker than the other. Consistent width with reserves on both ends. The underside is almost flat. The piece displays its original, natural ivory tone. The colour of the outer layer of bark is a mix of beige and grey.
