Natural mammoth bark scales

This is a pre-cut pair of natural woolly mammoth bark scales (Mammuthus primigenius). These scales are in a very good condition. Please note one small crack on the edge of one slab. Consistent width and thickness with reserves on both ends. The undersides are flat. The colour of the bark is a mix of creme, brown and blue-grey patches. 

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).

These natural mammoth bark scales are not stabilized and/or filled with resin. Please note that none of our mammoth ivory is artificially stabilized and/or restored unless explicitly stated.
