Mustard mammoth bark

This is an immaculate piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is naturally dense and solid, without cracks. Tapered thickness: One cross-cut section is slightly thicker than the other. Consistent width with reserves on both ends. The natural color of the bark is mustard.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia), Siberia

This mustard mammoth bark is completely natural and untreated. It is not stabilized or resin-filled. All of our pieces are unique in color, structure, and shape due to fossilization processes and long-term climatic conditions of the Siberian permafrost. No artificial treatments or restorations have been performed unless specifically stated.
