Brown-red mammoth bark

This is a premium-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is naturally dense and solid, without cracks despite some small, non-penetrating cracks fissures on the thinner thicker wider narrower one cross-cut section. Tapered width and thickness with reserves on both ends: One cross-cut section is thicker and narrower than the other. Please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The natural colour of the bark is brown-red.

This brown-red mammoth bark is completely natural and untreated. It is not stabilized or resin-filled. All of our pieces are unique in colour, structure, and shape due to fossilization processes and long-term climatic conditions of the Siberian permafrost. No artificial treatments or restorations have been performed unless specifically stated.
