Brown-orange mammoth bark

This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is naturally dense and solid, despite some small, non-penetrating cracks. Tapered width and thickness with reserves on both ends: One cross-cut section is thinner and wider than the other. One side of this piece was cut at an angle - please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The natural colour of the bark is brown-orange.

This brown-orange mammoth bark is natural and untreated. It is not stabilized or resin-filled. All of our pieces are unique in colour, structure, and shape due to fossilization processes and long-term climatic conditions of the Siberian permafrost. No artificial treatments or restorations have been performed unless specifically stated.
