Brown-blue mammoth bark

This is a premium-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is naturally dense and solid, without cracks. Tapered width with reserves on both ends: One cross-cut section is slightly wider than the other. Consistent thickness. The natural colour of the bark ranges from dark brown to blue.

This brown-blue mammoth bark is completely natural and untreated. It is not stabilized or resin-filled. All of our pieces are unique in colour, structure, and shape due to fossilisation processes and long-term climatic conditions of the Siberian permafrost.
