This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is naturally dense and solid, despite some small, non-penetrating cracks. Tapered width: One cross-cut section is wider than the other. Consistent thickness with reserves on both ends. The natural colour of the bark is dark beige.

This beige mammoth bark is natural and untreated. It is not stabilized or resin-filled.
