Beige mammoth bark

This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is naturally dense and solid, despite some small cracks on the underside. Tapered width: One cross-cut section is wider than the other. Consistent thickness with reserves on both ends. The natural colour of the bark is beige.

This beige mammoth bark is natural and untreated. It is not stabilized or epoxy-filled. All of our pieces are unique in colour, structure, and shape due to fossilization processes and long-term climatic conditions of the Siberian permafrost.
