This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is naturally dense and solid, despite some small cracks. Tapered thickness: One cross-cut section is slightly thicker than the other. Consistent width with reserves on both ends. The natural colour of the bark is yellow-black.

This yellow-black mammoth bark is natural and untreated. It is not stabilized or resin-filled.
