This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth ivory (Mammuthus primigenius). This piece stems from the centre of a mammoth tusk - the nerve channel in the middle is clearly visible. The ivory is naturally dense and solid, despite some small cracks on the larger cross-cut section. Please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The piece displays its original, natural ivory tone.
