This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is naturally dense and solid, despite some small, non-penetrating fissures. Tapered thickness with reserves on both ends: One cross-cut section is significantly thicker than the other. Consistent width with reserves on both ends. One cross-cut section was cut at two angles - please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The natural color of the bark is a mix of brown, orange and green.
