This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth ivory (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is naturally dense and solid, despite one crack. Tapered thickness: One cross-cut section is thicker than the other. Consistent width with reserves on both ends. The piece displays its original, natural ivory tone. The colour of the outer layer is a mix of creme, beige and light brown.
