This is an immaculate piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is naturally dense and solid, without cracks. Tapered width: One cross-cut section is slightly wider than the other. Consistent thickness with reserves on both ends. The natural color of the bark is grey.

This grey mammoth bark is natural and untreated. It is not stabilized or resin-filled. All of our pieces are unique in color, structure, and shape due to fossilization processes and long-term climatic conditions of the Siberian permafrost.
