This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is naturally dense and solid, despite one small, non-penetrating fissure on the wider cross-cut section. Consistent thickness with reserves on both ends. The natural colour of the bark is golden caramel-brown with creme patches and black flecking.
