This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid despite some small fissures. One cross-cut section is thinner and narrower than the other. Reserves on both ends. One cross-cut section was cut an angle. Please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The colour of the bark is brown-mustard.
Geological epoch: Pleistocene.
Age: Over 10,000 years.
Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
