This is a premium-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is naturally rock-solid, with some small cracks. The piece features consistent width and usable reserves on both ends. One cross-section is thicker than the other. The natural colour ranges from brown to caramel.
This brown-caramel mammoth bark is completely natural and untreated. It is not stabilized, resin-filled, or restored. None of our mammoth ivory is stabilized or restored unless explicitly stated.
Each piece is unique in colour, structure, and shape due to fossilisation processes and long-term conditions in permafrost.
