This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is naturally dense and solid, despite one small crack. Tapered width: One cross-cut section is slightly wider than the other. Consistent thickness with reserves on both ends. The natural color of the bark is blue-beige.
