White mammoth ivory segment

This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth ivory (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is naturally dense and solid, despite some small, non-penetrating cracks. Tapered width: One cross-cut section is slightly wider than the other. Consistent thickness with reserves on both ends. The piece displays its original, natural ivory tone. The colour of the outer layer of bark is brown.
