This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth ivory (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid and completely dry. There are a few cracks which do not affect the solidity of this piece. The second round piece was glued inside the centre of the larger piece and is suitable as a penholder, for example. Please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The colour of the ivory is white-beige. The colour of the outer layer of bark is brown.

Age: Over 10,000 years.
Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
