Carved woolly mammoth figurine

Hand-carved woolly mammoth figurine in fossil mammoth ivory (Mammuthus primigenius), sculpted from a solid block of stabilized Siberian ivory. A pale cream ground is broken by sweeping bands of moss and sage green, with dark charcoal lines tracing the contours and the concentric growth rings clearly visible across the flank. The tusks were carved separately and set into the skull. Free-standing.
