This is a premium-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth ivory (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is naturally dense and solid, despite one tiny, non-penetrating crack on the edge of one cross-cut section. Tapered width: One cross-cut section is slightly wider than the other. Consistent thickness with reserves on both ends. The piece displays its original, natural ivory tone.
