This is a good-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth ivory (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid and completely dry. There are some cracks. One cross-cut section is slightly larger than the other. Plenty of top-quality reserves. Please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The colour of the ivory is white. The colour of the outer layer of bark is orange-yellow.
Geological epoch: Pleistocene.
Age: Over 10,000 years.
Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
