This is a premium-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is naturally dense and solid, despite one tiny, non-penetrating crack on one side. Tapered width: One cross-cut section is wider than the other. Consistent thickness with reserves on both ends. The natural colour of the bark is a mix of beige, brown and green.
