This is a premium-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is naturally dense and solid, despite one small, non-penetrating crack on the wider cross-cut section. Consistent thickness with reserves on both ends. The natural colour of the bark is a ranges from brown to green to orange tones.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia), Siberia
This multicoloured mammoth bark is completely natural and untreated. It is not stabilized or resin-filled. All of our pieces are unique in colour, structure, and shape due to fossilisation processes and long-term climatic conditions of the Siberian permafrost. No artificial treatments or restorations have been performed unless specifically stated.
