Hand-carved woolly mammoth figurine in fossil mammoth ivory (Mammuthus primigenius), sculpted from a solid block of stabilized Siberian ivory. Warm walnut and taupe brown mottling runs across the body, with pale bone-cream patches and dark fissure lines following the natural grain. The tusks were carved separately and set into the skull, curving forward in a long, generous sweep. Free-standing.
