This is a good-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is naturally dense and solid, despite some small cracks. Tapered thickness: One cross-cut section is significantly thicker than the other. Consistent width with reserves on both ends. The natural colour of the bark is caramel-brown with some creme streaks.

This caramel-brown mammoth bark is natural and untreated. It is not stabilized or epoxy-filled.
