This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth ivory (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is naturally dense and solid, despite some small cracks. Tapered width and thickness with reserves on both ends: One cross-cut section is thicker and wider than the other. Please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The colour of the outer layer is brown.
