This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is naturally dense and solid, despite one small, non-penetrating crack on the thicker cross-cut section. Consistent width with reserves on both ends. The natural colour of the bark is olive-brown with heavy grey and amber mottling.

This mammoth bark is natural and untreated. It is not stabilized or epoxy-filled.
