This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth ivory (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is naturally dense and solid, without cracks. There is one tiny, non-penetrating fissure on one edge. Consistent width and thickness with reserves on both ends. The piece displays its original, natural ivory tone.
