This is an immaculate piece of Siberian woolly mammoth ivory (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is naturally dense and solid, without cracks. Consistent width and thickness with reserves on both ends. The piece displays its original, natural ivory tone. The natural colour of the outer layer of bark ranges from rust, to brown, to orange.
