Stabilised mammoth ivory block

This is a cross-cut stabilised woolly mammoth ivory block (Mammuthus primigenius). This block can be precision-cut, drilled, sanded, polished etc. to achieve the desired results. Consistent thickness and diameter with reserves on both sides. The colour of the ivory is a mix of dark-blue and black.

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
