Round mammoth tusk piece

This is a good-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth ivory (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory of this round piece is rock-solid, dry and without cracks. The diameter of one cross-cut section is significantly larger than of the other. Please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. This piece displays its natural creme-ivory tone.

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
