Red-brown mammoth bark

This is an immaculate piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is naturally dense and solid, without cracks. Consistent width and thickness with reserves on both ends. The natural colour of the bark is red-brown.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia), Siberia

This red-brown mammoth bark is completely natural and untreated. It is not stabilized or resin-filled. All of our pieces are unique in colour, structure, and shape due to fossilisation processes and long-term climatic conditions of the Siberian permafrost. No artificial treatments or restorations have been performed unless specifically stated.
