Natural woolly mammoth bark

This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is naturally dense and solid, despite one small, non-penetrating crack on the thicker cross-cut section. Consistent width with reserves on both ends. The natural colour of the bark is a mix of beige, blue and brown.

This multicoloured mammoth bark is natural and untreated. It is not stabilized or resin-filled. All of our pieces are unique in colour, structure, and shape due to fossilization processes and long-term climatic conditions of the Siberian permafrost. No artificial treatments or restorations have been performed unless specifically stated.
