Brown-mustard mammoth bark

This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is naturally dense and solid, despite one tiny, non-penetrating fissure on the thicker cross-cut section. Consistent width with reserves on both ends. The natural colour of the bark is brown-mustard.

This brown-mustard mammoth bark is natural and untreated. It is not stabilized or epoxy-filled. All of our pieces are unique in colour, structure, and shape due to fossilization processes and long-term climatic conditions of the Siberian permafrost.
