Brown mammoth bark

This is a premium-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is naturally dense and solid, despite one small, non-penetrating crack on the topside. Tapered width and thickness: One cross-cut section is thicker and wider than the other. Reserves on both ends. Please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The natural colour of the bark is brown.

This brown mammoth bark is completely natural and untreated. It is not stabilized or resin-filled. All of our pieces are unique in colour, structure, and shape due to fossilisation processes and long-term climatic conditions of the Siberian permafrost. No artificial treatments or restorations have been performed unless specifically stated.
