Blue-beige mammoth bark

This is a premium-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is naturally dense and solid, despite some small cracks. Tapered width and thickness with reserves on both ends: One cross-cut section is thicker and narrower than the other. Please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The natural colour of the bark is blue-beige.

This blue-beige mammoth bark is completely natural and untreated. It is not stabilized or resin-filled. All of our pieces are unique in colour, structure, and shape due to fossilisation processes and long-term climatic conditions of the Siberian permafrost. No artificial treatments or restorations have been performed unless specifically stated.
