Natural mammoth ivory piece

This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth ivory (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid despite some small cracks. Consistent width and thickness with plenty of reserves on both ends. The underside is almost flat. The colour of the ivory is white. The colour of the outer layer of bark is beige.

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
