This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth ivory (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid and completely dry. There are some tiny, non-penetrating cracks. One cross-cut section is slightly thicker than the other. Consistent width with reserves on both ends. One cross-cut section was cut at an angle - please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The colour of the ivory is white. The colour of the outer layer of bark is a mix of white, brown and orange.

Age: Over 10,000 years.
Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
