White-cream mammoth ivory piece

This is a quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth ivory (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory of this semicircular mammoth tusk piece is rock-solid despite the cracks. One cross-cut section is thicker and narrower than the other. Please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The colour of the ivory is white-cream.

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).

This piece is presented in its natural condition - it is not stabilized and /or injected with resin. Please take note that none of our mammoth ivory is artificially stabilized and / or restored unless explicitly stated.
