This is a round cross-cut section of a Siberian woolly mammoth tusk (Mammuthus primigenius). Apart from one small, non-penetrating crack on one cross-cut section, the ivory of this piece is of the highest quality: completely dry and crackless. The ivory of this piece has been drying for over 5 years. Please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The colour of the outer layer of bark is beige-cream.

Age: Over 10,000 years.
Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
