This is a good-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth ivory (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory of this round cross-cut section is rock-solid despite the small cracks. This sections stems from the centre of a mammoth tusk - the nerve channel is clearly visible in the centre. One cross-cut section is thicker than the other. Please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The colour of the ivory is brown-white.

Age: Over 10,000 years.
Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
