This is an immacualte piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid without cracks. One cross-cut section is slightly wider than the other, because it was cut at an angle. Consistent thickness with reserves on both ends. The colour of the bark is brown-cream.

Age: Over 10,000 years.
Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
