Blue woolly mammoth bark

This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid without cracks. There is a tiny, non-penetrating fissure on one cross-cut section. One cross-cut section is slightly wider than the other. Consistent thickness with reserves on both ends. This piece is curved - please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The colour of the bark is a stunning blue. 

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).

This blue mammoth bark piece is presented in its natural condition - it is not stabilized and /or injected with resin. Please take note that none of our mammoth ivory is artificially stabilized and / or restored unless explicitly stated.
